Common questions

A product wasn't found

Public databases don't cover every product, especially store brands. Use "Scan Nutrition Label Only" to read the Nutrition Facts panel directly, or the manual sugar calculator. Misses are logged on your device under Settings > Diagnostics > Missed Scans so you can retry later.

Camera doesn't work

Enable camera access in iOS Settings > SugarSpy. You can still use manual barcode entry without the camera.

Restore purchases

Settings (gear icon) > Restore Purchases, or the Restore button on the SugarSpy Pro screen. Subscriptions are managed by Apple in Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.

Data accuracy

Nutrition values come from public databases and label scans — always verify against the product package. SugarSpy is informational only and is not medical advice.
